When is Contafever N contraindicated?
It is contraindicated to use or prescribe Contafever N syrup in the following cases:
- Hypersensitivity to the components of the medicine (ipoContafever N).
- Before or after heart surgeries.
- Patients with uncontrolled high blood pressure. Refer to your doctor if you are sick with high blood pressure before using Contafever N syrup.
- Patients with uncontrolled high blood pressure. Refer to your doctor if you are sick with high blood pressure before using Contafever N syrup.
- Coronary artery patients (coronary arteries are the blood vessels that supply the heart muscle, and often blockages or narrowing occur because of fat deposition on the walls of those blood vessels, and blockage or narrowing of the coronary arteries leads to rapid fatigue and may develop into angina attacks Contafever N syrup may cause increased narrowing of the coronary arteries. Check with your doctor if you have a condition affecting the coronary arteries before you take this medicine.
- Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: asthma (including history of worsening breathing after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs), blood disorders (such as anemia, bleeding/clotting problems), growths. In the nose (adenoids), heart disease (such as a previous heart attack), high blood pressure, liver disease, stroke, throat/stomach/intestinal problems (such as bleeding, heartburn, ulcers).
- Do not take this medicine if you are taking other medicines for cold and cold. Or any other medicines containing the same ingredients.
- Patients with gastric ulcers.
